WINTER RUNNING...
Tony Rodiez, a veteran runner of 36 Wisconsin winters, provides a few key elements to remember while running in the winter:

1. Keep moisture away from your skin with fabric that wicks away moisture.  Torso area is an important body part to keep warm

2. Keep wind away from your body with jackets that are windproof.

3. Start the early portion of your run into the wind and later portion with the wind. Built up sweat may cause you to become very cold if you finish into the wind.

4. Hats and golves are crucial, as these regions of the body have a big role in the regulation of body temperature.

5. It's not a bad idea to pick up a pair of ice joggers for your running shoes. These help prevent slips and spills on icy surfaces.
